Tested the carriage extracted from the case by a glass ruler, pulling it back and forth and looking at the indicator of the axis. It's fine. If you inserted a carriage but the readings do not change, then check the position of the carriage on the ruler itself, I was pumped into (it would seem) a standard situation. I had to bend the spring with a clamp.
